Abstract

Figs. 1 - 26 in '6.3.2 Data', part of 'Landolt-Börnstein - Group III Condensed Matter: Numerical Data and Functional Relationships in Science and Technology, Volume 24c: Interaction of Charged Particles and Atoms with Surfaces'.
This chapter provides data on elastic and inelastic scattering of ions. Quasi-single (QS) and quasi-double (QD) scattering, and energy spectra of particles specularly reflected from a Cu(100) surface are figured out. Impact collision ion scattering spectrometry is shown. Scattered particle intensity is measured as a function of azimuthal angle for Pt(110)1x2 and Pt(110)1x3. Surface relaxation determination of Pt by single alignment HEIS and surface reconstruction study of Si by shadowing and blocking are plotted. Reconstruction of Au(110)1x2, mixed Ir(110)1x3/1x1, and NiAl(100) are schematically illustrated. Surface composition and relaxation of CaF2 are shown. Structure of UO2, and quasi-single and quasi-double scattering of Ni are plotted. Further, focusing of Cu by surface semichannels is shown.
