Abstract

Figs. 11a - 11f in '2.1.2.1.3 Hexagonal close-packed structures', part of 'Landolt-Börnstein - Group III Condensed Matter: Numerical Data and Functional Relationships in Science and Technology, Volume 24a: Structure'.
This chapter presents the surface diagrams for hexagonal close-packed (HCP) structures. The surface normal and the directions OX, OY are specified on the diagrams in both the monoclinic system and in the 4-index Miller-Bravais system. The positions of surface atoms in various hcp surfaces are also tabulated.
